He was thought taunted to be one of the best mobilizers, strategist and political managers from Gusii. Everyone trembled in his name's mention even from the ODM team which pretended not to care much about him.  In fact, some ODM members were trying to water down his influence and called him names such as a tumbocrat or an empty shell.
