SOUTH MUGIRANGO JUBILEE TICKET BECOMES A SHIFTING SMILE.
By Sylvester Mogusu
South Mugirango Constituency has attracted more than 10 M.P aspirants. The constituency has over 61000
registered voters with the majority from Borabu side. Borabu has 3
aspirants both who happen to come from Botabori clan. However, recent drama has taken center stage, the cat and mouse demand for the much coveted Jubilee ticket
between two aspirants.. Hon Rashid and Hon Vincent where the borne of contention has been the validity of the candidate to get the ticket it. They have turned it into a hide and seek game
NEP.Tribunals and court but election outcomes were crystal clear that
Ho. RASHID win by a bigger margin and was according to the democratic
will of south mugirango. Now as things stand Rashid will carry the day
on a jubilee ticket after a successful court rulingdemanding a revoke
of Nomination certificate from Vincent Amenya Marube whose way of
getting the jubilee ticket remains a mystery. ..
IN SOUTH MUGIRANGO
POLITICS POWER TRIANGLE..most leadership has been coming from CHACHE
side from the past mps have been from chache...And now its high time the
BORABU people demand a fare share different from clanism division, every
region must be represented well in the power sharing.
Now that
Rashid will battle it with Ondora from ODM both from Borabu side since
sanity has been restored.. most supporters will subscribe to Hon Rashid
from Borabu to be their M.P as they consider Hon.Manson Nyamweya as Governor
and Hon.Magara for Senator. The chache side has endorsed so many
aspirants including a Senator and Governor..for RARENESS an M.p should
come from Borabu side and Hon.RASHID MINYONGA STANDS TALL for that
chance from jubilee..his patience and commitment from the past and of
recent nomination display speaks volumes about Him.
"A
thousand Dollar does not lose value even if its old dirty or tattered"so
is Rashid....his regular commitment in politics has shown his strong
will to lead the people of S.Mugirango and time is ripe now to give him a
chance. His patience might pay this time..though other Aspirants have
got equal measure of being leaders and democracy dictates so.. above all
equal distribution of resources and power can lead to hunger to lead
satisfaction free from wrangles that are agents of underdevelopment as
witnessed by skewed development I.e roads in Borabu compared to chache
where roads have been done fairly well.
Extra ordinary situations
lead to extra ordinary measures...its now Rashid to tilt if from jubilee
side far from party perception as the the electorates put their last
note on 8 August though competition from Both divides welcomed to
satisfy democracy
Above all peace and harmony should prevail for future posterity.
