RAILA IS NOT A JOSHUA, HE IS SOMETHING ELSE.

Like a chameleon, Raila Odinga is known to camouflage politically depending on the political circumstance. He has called himself a number of names and titles. The latest tittle which has been blindly taken in by his supporters is Joshua. Is Raila real a Joshua? No, he is not.

Before we look for reasons for or against Raila being Joshua, first lets understand who is Joshua. Joshua's real names were "Hosea son of Nun" Moses gave him anew name "Joshua" meaning "The lords salvation". Joshua stands out when Moses sent 12 spies to the land of Canaan, Only Joshua and Caleb returned with a belief that the Israelites can take over Canaan. Joshua was a loyal servant to Moses and he took Moses as a teacher and he never disobeyed Moses. Never. In simple terms, Joshua was Moses's understudy.

From the above paragraph, we have known who Joshua was, though in a nutshell but somethings have stood up. They are not in anyway related to Raila in anyway but they are totally different. Consider the following.

Joshua was working under Moses from Egypt till Moses's death, on the other hand we don't know who Moses is in Raila's eyes. Who got the Kenyan people from his perceived Egypt. For instance, Kenyatta, Moi, Kibaki and Uhuru are his "predecessors" so who has he respected and learn't from as a Moses? The answer is, Raila has not learnt from either of them and in fact he has disrespected all of the aforementioned leaders or you may call them "Moseses".

Their has never been a time in history where Joshua and Caleb disagreed and fought one another. However in Agwambo's bible their is averse called 2007, when Joshua and Caleb were in different camps and they were fighting on who was superior than the other. In the Bible Joshua was younger than his predecessor, in Joshua context, Joshua is the oldest. 

Now the question his, Since Raila is not and does not qualify to be called a Joshua, then who is Raila? The answer is in Numbers Chapter 16. 

"1 Korah ... the son of Levi, and certain Reubenites ... became insolent 2 and rose up against Moses. With them were 250 Israelite men, well-known community leaders who had been appointed members of the council.
3 They came as a group to oppose Moses and Aaron and said to them, 'You have gone too far! The whole community is holy, every one of them, and the LORD is with them. Why then do you set yourselves above the LORD's assembly?'" (Numbers 16:1-3)

In the above verses, Korah stood against the anointed one of God, Just like Raila has done. He wanted to forcefully take powers from Moses and he divided the camp into two factions. "David Ndii, Raila's advisor wants the same".
 If you go down the verse you will realize that God separated Korah and his followers from Moses's and then opened up the earth which swallowed Korah and his accomplices and they were never seen again.

I foresee the same fate befalling Raila Odinga, the political earth will swallow him and he will never be heard again. Like Korah, the forthcoming elections will be the end Of Raila Korah and not Joshua. We are alread in Canaan.

Final Thought: Raila qualifies to be Korah, Kalonzo is Dathan and Mudavadi is Abiram. Their political lives oare on the tail end.

Photo: Felix Adams In one of  Mr. Bean's famous movies "Johny English" the operators in the villains camp played down John (The main character)  as influence by calling him an idiot. However, the main villain warned them of  of looking down upon an idiot who has the tendency of showing up when needed. He turned out to save day. The worst mistake which worked against the villain's camp was prejudice. As the anecdote above, NASA has had the tendency of writing Jubilee off in Gisii politics to the point that they felt in a comfort zone.
